UPDATE January 24, 2026: Our Havashu puppies are now 16 weeks old. Pictures are posted. We have 5 Havashu puppies that are still all available. The Havashu puppies are a mix between ShihTzu and Havanese. Our Havashu’s have a Havanese Mom and a Shihtzu Dad. They will be between 11 and 15 lbs. when full grown. They are a very mellow dog, great with kids or just sitting on your lap. Two of my Granddaughters have a Havashu and love him so much. He puts up with being dressed, riding around in a doggy baby carriage. I had a puppy parent drive from Orange County for his 2nd Havashu. One for his daughter and one for his son. You will not find a better companion for your family. Available are Diamond female, Dove, Honey and Roxey females and Arrow male. The price is $1800 for the Havashu puppies. We have 2 male Shih Tzu pups that are available now. Female and two males have already found their forever homes. The price for the Shih Tzu puppies is $2500. The two very cute boys remaining are Teddy and Ziggy. The pictures of the remaining puppies are current and were taken January 19, 2026. Our puppies are all happy and good natured. We welcome visitors and encourage you to visit our home to view the puppies. They are from Winston and Sheila who had 4 males and 1 female. Two males and the female are spoken for and have their new puppy parents. That leaves 2 males still available. These puppies are ready for adoption now. They turned 8 weeks old today Saturday January 24, 2026. This will be our last litter for a period of time. We may have puppies around August or September. We have no pregnant mommas at this time. We thank all who trust us to bring them these wonderful puppies. I have contact information for another breeder in Saint Helena near Napa. I can give you her information if you don’t see one of my puppies that you like. She has several puppies that are ready for their forever homes right now.

These puppies can be viewed at my home in Colfax Ca. With dogs, every owner is looking for that perfect match. We want man’s best friend to be kind and affectionate yet responsible and reliable, with a huge personality and plenty of energy to become one of the family. Located on five wooded acres in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains California Shih Tzu Pups is dedicated to breeding beautiful, affectionate, playful, and healthy AKC Shih Tzu companions and Havashu puppies. The most important part of taking care of the California ShihTzu is ensuring they’re always getting the proper nutrients and diet. That is why the health of our puppies is ensured by excellent hygiene and nutrition and regular deworming and vaccinations. All puppies are thoroughly examined by our Veterinarian prior to placement in their new homes, and all of our Shih Tzus have AKC registration papers.
