UPDATE January 10, 2026: Our Havashu puppies are now 14 weeks old. Pictures are posted. We have 4 Havashu puppies that are still all available. The Havashu puppies are a mix between ShihTzu and Havanese. Our Havashu’s have a Havanese Mom and a Shihtzu Dad. They will be between 11 and 15 lbs. when full grown. They are a very mellow dog, great with kids or just sitting on your lap. Two of my Granddaughters have a Havashu and love him so much. He puts up with being dressed, riding around in a doggy baby carriage. Available are Diamond female, Honey female, Roxey female and Arrow male. The price is $2000 for the Havashu puppies. We can take $200 of the price of the Havashus for a New Years special. We have no Shih Tzu puppies ready to go today. We have 3 male Shih Tzu pups available Jan 23, 2026. The price for the Shih Tzu puppies is $2500. We have a litter that was born November 29, 2025. The pictures of the remaining puppies are current and were taken December 29, 2025. Our puppies are all happy and good natured. We welcome visitors and encourage you to visit our new puppies when they are 6 weeks old. That will be around Jan 9, 2026 for the new litter. They are from Winston and Sheila who had 4 males and 1 female. One male and the female are spoken for. That leaves 3 males still available. These puppies will be ready for adoption on January 23, 2026. This will be our last litter for a period of time. We have no pregnant mommas at this time. We thank all who trust us to bring them these wonderful puppies. I have contact information for another breeder in Saint Helena near Napa. I can give you her information if you don’t see one of my puppies that you like. She has several puppies that are ready for their forever homes right now.

These puppies can be viewed at my home in Colfax Ca. With dogs, every owner is looking for that perfect match. We want man’s best friend to be kind and affectionate yet responsible and reliable, with a huge personality and plenty of energy to become one of the family. Being raised in the heart of our home, our puppies are accustomed to everyday noises and household activity, making the getting-to-know-you part that much easier.
Located on five wooded acres in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains California Shih Tzu Pups is dedicated to breeding beautiful, affectionate, playful, and healthy AKC Shih Tzu companions and Havashu puppies. The most important part of taking care of the California ShihTzu is ensuring they’re always getting the proper nutrients and diet. That is why the health of our puppies is ensured by excellent hygiene and nutrition and regular deworming and vaccinations. All puppies are thoroughly examined by our Veterinarian prior to placement in their new homes, and all of our Shih Tzus have AKC registration papers.
